Home Health Aide (HHA)
A home health aide (HHA) provides health-related services to an individual in the comfort of their home and has a certification from the New York State Department of Health.
Home health aides work on a part-time or live-in basis. They offer a wide range of services at home, in a hospital or health care facility setting. The range of care includes senior home care, home care for the disabled, post-op care, palliative care, and other forms of specialized care.
All of the home health aides are employees of HCS Home Care – a licensed home health agency in the State of New York. In addition, a HCS Home Care registered nurse will oversee the plan of care as well as working with your doctor and family members.
